National Infertility Awareness Week, April 24-30, 2011
Every year, the last week in April is designated National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) with the goal to bring attention to the disease of infertility and provide much-needed education. This year’s theme is all about busting infertility myths and we have a lot planned to support this important week that’s hosted by RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.
- Check out our Events page for activities in your area that are sponsored by clinics in our Attain Fertility network.
- Check out our daily blog posts by fertility experts and patients who each bust a fertility myth.
- Take our Attain Fertility Myth Busting Quiz and enter a drawing for a chance to win a prize. (Coming April 24.)
- Join us on Facebook and join the conversation as we support one another along the path to parenthood.
Want to learn more about RESOLVE and the wonderful work they do? Check out their website to learn more and for additional infertility information, events and support services.
7.3 million Americans, or one in eight U.S. couples of childbearing age are diagnosed with infertility. Whether you are faced with infertility yourself or are the friend/family member of a loved one who is, please join us in breaking the silence and creating awareness about the disease of infertility.Sources
