Britt Berg

Role at IntegraMed: Content Manager

Work background: For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with babies, pregnancy, and motherhood. I studied international women’s health issues, including childbirth and breastfeeding, as a Women’s Studies major at Emory University. After earning a Master’s degree in Counseling, I spent several years at Emory University working on psychological research studies with pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children. Since 2010, I have been writing about infertility for Attain Fertility and other websites. Currently, I am Medical Content Manager for the Attain Fertility website and blog.

Most memorable work moments: 1) Receiving a copy of the book Making a Baby: Everything You Need to Know to Get Pregnant and seeing my name on the cover as co-author! And 2) Joining Attain Fertility as Content Manager in October 2011

Personal interests: As much as I am obsessed with pregnancy, fertility, and motherhood, I am crazy about being outdoors. I love hiking in the mountains, walking on the beach, nature trails, wildlife viewing, being out in the sun, and swimming. I am also nuts about yoga and have been practicing since 1993.

Personal background: I spent my childhood swimming almost year-round in Florida, and have spent my adult life in Atlanta. As I get older, the ocean calls me back, and I hope to buy a house on the water someday. I am happily married and a mom of 3 girls. If I’m not on a computer you can usually find me out in nature or out shopping.

My POV: Years ago, an acquaintance of mine began blogging about her journey toward pregnancy and her subsequent struggles with infertility. Up until then, I did not know how devastating infertility could be and her story touched me deeply. I hope that, through my work, I can educate, advocate, and bring awareness to all aspects of fertility and infertility.
