Role at Integramed: Marketing Communications Specialist

Work background: Before I joined the wonderful world of Attain Fertility, I worked primarily in the sports field. I studied Journalism and Public Relations at St. John’s University and recently earned my MBA in Marketing from New Jersey City University. Here at Attain Fertility, I do a little bit of everything. I help out with anything marketing related for IntegraMed and Attain Fertility, which involves a bit of writing, and I work with digital media constantly. I am a bit of a social media nerd, so when I was told I was to manage our Twitter account @AttainFertility (tweet at us, if you haven’t already!), I was very happy.

Most Memorable Work Moments: I have two that stick out to me. In college, I interned for the sports section of the New York Post and I can’t describe the feeling I had when I saw that first byline in the paper. My other most memorable work moment definitely had to be when I officially joined the IntegraMed team as a Marketing Coordinator in June 2013.

Personal interests: Along with my fondness for social media, I love many things such as my adorable Jack Russell terrier Brandy aka my “Furbaby”, playing soccer as much as I can, cleaning (one of my favorite hobbies), being outside in general and making the most of everyday. I do enjoy my downtime and I will often be reading or enjoying my guilty pleasure television shows. I can quote most episodes of The Office or Arrested Development and I am a die-hard fan of Grey’s Anatomy, Revenge and 24.

Personal background: After I went to college at St. John’s in Queens, New York, I returned back to the suburbs in my hometown of Rockland County. I have spent my life in New York and have traveled all over. If I’m not at work, I will most likely be outside or catching up on sleep and I will usually tweet about it.

My POV: When I first started working here, I did not know how devastating infertility could be and how many people have been struggling with it. I hope that I will be able to raise awareness and educate people about infertility, as well as continue to grow and help manage our wonderful online community. Every day I am fortunate enough to learn something new here and it makes me want to have a positive impact on our community.
