David I. Hoffman, M.D. has over 26 years of experience diagnosing and treating the causes of infertility. He joined IVF Florida Reproductive Associates in 1989. 

Dr. Hoffman is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and currently serves as a Voluntary Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is a past President of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART). 

A native of Pennsylvania, Doctor Hoffman completed his under graduate work at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1973.  He went on to graduate studies at the University of California in Los Angeles before entering medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he received his medical degree in 1978.  He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles in 1982 and remained there to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 1984. 

Doctor Hoffman is experienced in all areas of ART (assisted reproductive technologies) including in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo transfer, and is a highly skilled in laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery.   Clinical interests include treatment of recurrent miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, and hormone replacement therapy.
