Dr. Eden Rauch is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has always had a natural desire to want to help people. Her interest in reproductive endocrinology and infertility began in high school during a summer position when Dr. Rauch worked as an office assistant in a NJ based private infertility practice. This was an exciting time in the early 90’s when infertility centers were starting in NJ. “I was amazed how reproductive medicine was advancing to help couples achieve a family”.

Dr. Rauch earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with honors in Nutritional Sciences. Her background in nutrition has been helpful throughout her medical career for counseling and promoting wellness with her patients. She continued her education at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School right here in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was accepted into a combined degree program earning her a degree in medicine and a masters in public health in epidemiology, and was involved in starting NJ’s first registry to track early ultrasound diagnosed fetal anomalies. Dr. Rauch went on to pursue her interest, completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Medical College of Cornell University. In fellowship, Dr. Rauch was involved with starting a FDA approved fertility preservation clinical trial for women affected with breast cancer.

Dr. Rauch’s compassionate approach to medicine has earned her several distinctions including the 2013 Vitals.com Compassionate Doctor Recognition and the Gold Humanism in Medicine honors. “I try to keep my patients focused on success by talking with them often,” she says. “Even if they are not expecting a call from me, I’ll take the time to check in with them to make sure they are comfortable with their treatment.” Dr. Rauch finds it valuable to provide realistic expectations for her patient’s chance for success, always lending an ear for support, encouragement, and direction.

Dr. Rauch grew up in New Jersey, enjoying music and the arts. She is the mother of two young children who motivate her on a daily basis to achieve success for her patients who are having trouble starting a family. When at home with her family she enjoys playing tennis, watching Disney movies with her kids, and gardening.

Dr. Rauch has authored and contributed to numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals including Fertility and Sterility, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Obstetrical & Gynecological Survey. She has lectured to oncologists throughout NJ about fertility preservation. Her areas of specialty including improving infertility diagnosis and treatment, particularly in the areas of fertility preservation for patients with cancer, the treatment of diminished ovarian egg reserve in young poor responders, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), nutrition and its impact on health and infertility, and minimally invasive endoscopic surgery.
