Dr. Marut is the Medical Director of FCI’s Highland Park IVF Center. After graduating from Boston College and the Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Marut served his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco, leading to lifetime Board Certification in OB/GYN. He was awarded the National Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and completed the fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.  He subsequently also achieved lifetime Board-Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Marut was then appointed Director of IVF and Reproductive Endocrinology at Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago, and has held medical faculty positions at the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Marut has been honored annually by numerous consumer groups, is a frequent lecturer and consultant, and has authored many scientific publications. His clinical and research interests include IVF in the older, poor prognosis, and high-risk female populations, pregnancy loss, and preimplantation genetics.
