Dr. Rybak is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible in reproductive endocrinology. He has special expertise and interests in polycystic ovarian syndrome, unexplained infertility, menstrual disorders, fertility preservation, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis. Dr. Rybak graduated with a B.A. in Biology, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University in NY. He received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and his Masters in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Rybak performed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins, where he was awarded the prestigious Chief Resident Award for Excellence in Gynecologic Oncology. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Montefiore Medical Center and The Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he remains an Assistant Clinical Professor. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks on various scientific topics - including his research interest in endometrial receptivity, and regarding the ethical dilemmas confronting assisted reproduction. Additionally, he has presented his work at leading conferences including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Gynecologic Investigation. Dr. Rybak is also an Ordained Orthodox Rabbi, having studied at Yeshiva
Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch, Yeshivat Har Etzion, and the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. This background has given him a unique appreciation for the spiritual concerns of his patients. Dr. Rybak is fluent in Hebrew, and has a basic command of Yiddish.
