George T Koulianos, M.D. is the Program Director at The Center for Reproductive Medicine at the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. He also serves as a Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Alabama. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in Houston, Texas. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Texas Tech Health Science Center at Amarillo in Texas. He completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. While at Tulane he was awarded the CIBA Fellowship for Research in Endocrinology of the Post Reproductive Woman by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Koulianos has 19 years of experience in the treatment of complex infertility disorders for a range of conditions including PCOS, endometriosis, male factor and recurrent pregnancy loss. He has performed over 2000 in vitro fertilization procedures for couples dealing with infertility and has over 3,000 babies.
Dr Koulianos is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally on issues relating to hormonal contraception, menopause and infertility. He has had articles published in such journals as the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, US Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cutis, Seminars in Reproductive Endocrinology and Endocrinology.
