Gerald M. Scholl, M.D. serves as Director of the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Program, Director of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, Associate Chief of the Division of Human Reproduction, and the Physician-in-Charge of the Sexual Dysfunction Program.  He has been with North Shore-LIJ Health System’s Center for Human Reproduction in Manhasset, NY since 1980. 

Dr. Scholl is certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology, and holds an academic appointment as Associate Professor. Dr. Scholl is dedicated to teaching and has been awarded several teaching awards including “Teacher of the Year” by Cornell University Medical College.

Through his schooling and more than thirty years and of experience, Dr. Scholl has a great understanding of the medical, psychological and marital issues that come with infertility.  Dr. Scholl received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the State University at Buffalo and his Medical Degree from New York University. His post-graduate training was completed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania including Fellowships in Marital Therapy and in Reproductive Endocrinology.
