John H. Mattox, M.D. - Dr. Mattox attended the University of Colorado where he received his bachelor of arts and doctor of medicine degree. Following internship at Hartford Hospital, he did his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Illinois Research and Educational Hospital in Chicago. In 1972, he was a Research Fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Washington. Dr. Mattox has been a faculty member of the Universities of Nebraska, New Mexico, and Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Presently he is Chair and Residency Program Director, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, in Phoenix, and Professor of Clinical Obstetrics, Gynecology and Prevention Medicine at the University of Arizona. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Zoology at Arizona State University. Dr. Mattox is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
