Dr. Michael Darder is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He is co-founder and co-director of IVF New Jersey (IVFNJ).

Dr. Darder received his medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL, and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.  He was awarded a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City.

At Columbia, Dr. Darder excelled in his field.  He was appointed Medical Director of the In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Program, and pioneered the university’s embryo freezing program, achieving its first pregnancy by frozen-thawed embryo transfer and dramatically increasing IVF pregnancy rates.

Despite his success, Dr. Darder was confident that, outside of the university atmosphere, he could more quickly and efficiently implement the latest reproductive technologies.  Teaming up with his colleague, Dr. Susan Treiser, he left Columbia to establish an advanced fertility practice that would rival the success of large university-based programs.

Since 1990, IVF New Jersey has become the fertility center gold standard, achieving exceptional IVF success rates while providing highly personalized patient care in a comfortable and private setting.

Today, Dr. Darder is renowned for his success in IVF, as well as his leadership in utilizing and refining the newest assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs).  He has lectured internationally and has published articles on infertility in the medical journal Fertility and Sterility.  He is a founding member of the prestigious New York Society of Reproductive Medicine.  Together with Dr. Treiser, he received the 2000 Zenith Award from the New Jersey chapter of RESOLVE, a national infertility support group.
