Michael J. Levy, M.D. is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, co-founder and Director of the IVF and Donor Egg Programs at Shady Grove Fertility Center in Rockville, MD.
In 1993, Dr. Levy pioneered the revolutionary IVF Shared Risk 100% Refund program with the goal of helping more couples afford the treatment they needed by guaranteeing treatment success or their money back. In 2006 he tackled the challenge of making donor egg treatment more affordable to more people by creating the unique Shared Donor Egg Program. This program reduces the cost of treatment by 50% without compromising success rates and providing immediate access to donor eggs.
Originally from South Africa, Dr. Levy received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town Medical School. He then attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology.
