Richard L. Wing, M.D. founded REACH in 1988 and currently serves as the practice’s administrative director. He previously directed the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility program at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Dr. Wing has published extensively in leading medical journals, and he pioneered one of the nation’s first satellite systems for assistive reproductive technologies. In addition, he has made presentations across the country and has actively participated in clinical trials. His special interests are laser laparoscopic surgery, operative hysteroscopy, microsurgical tubal reanastomosis and donor egg IVF. 

 

He has taught obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his medical degree and completed a fellowship.
