November is open enrollment season! This time last year, there’s a good chance that you decided to partake in your company’s flexible spending account (FSA) offering.  Perhaps you figured you’d use it for all of life’s medical “extras” that pop up. Or, perhaps you were hoping to become pregnant in the last year and thought it might come in handy for those OBGYN co-pays.

If you are the 1-in-8 that currently struggle with Infertility or the 1-in-4 that are challenged with pregnancy loss, you should know that your FSA could do more than pay for your co-pays, it can pay for your testing and treatments, too.

So many of our Attain Fertility patients have opted to pay a portion of their program fee this year using those pretax FSA dollars. The result? Some of them wound up saving about 30%.  From our perspective, it’s one of the easiest ways to cut major costs on many aspects of fertility treatment. So open up your wallet and pull out that card before the deadline arrives – there’s no time like the present! If you’re not currently enrolled in an FSA offering, reach out to your HR/benefits department today to get the ball rolling for 2019.
