Dr. Slowey has been in practice 16 years, is currently an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina and holds Board Certifications in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. His training began with three degrees from the University of Tennessee (BA, MS, MD) and he completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. Dr. Slowey’s Fellowship was completed at the Michael Reese/University of Illinois Program in Chicago before serving as the Reproductive Endocrinology Division at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. Recently, Dr. Slowey was an Assistant Professor at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as he practiced as a member of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey. Dr. Slowey’s clinical interests include the mechanism of follicular selection, recurrent pregnancy loss, the impact of GnRH analogs on the ovarian function and implantation and embryo selection for in vitro fertilitzation.
